  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

do you want to paper train them or housebreak them?

Both ways are pretty simple. Whenever they're done eating, drinking, sleeping, or playing place them where-ever you want them to go potty. If you're going to be gone for long periods of time, if you're sleeping, or if you're just to busy to watch them, place them in seperate cages. Puppies don't like to get their bed soiled, so they're unlikely to make a mess in their cage. Also, if you find a mess in the house, don't scold the puppies. If you catch them in the act you can gently scold them, but remember it's your fault you didn't think about getting them to the potty soon enough. When they do go potty in the designated area, praise them a lot.

AlwaysRemember makes a good point- there's a difference between paper and house training. Paper training is convenient for the time when they are very small, but housetraining is the ultimate end goal. Wouldn't it be better to just start them towards housetraining so there's no confusion? Sure it's tedious and time-consuming but that's puppies. :p
