we just got a new puppy

I didn't remember puppies being this much work!

but he is an adorable little guy

I have to watch him like a hawk
when taking him out, he has picked up little stones & pieces of mulch!

Dogs are like that, some worse than others. A co worker had some friends from the city drop by their farm with their two Labs. They thought it was an optimum time to let them run free. During the ride home they vomited the cow patties they ate while enjoying their freedom.

It will be a ymmv when it comes to training them out of that behavior. You might want to consult a dog training expert.

I Love puppies! And I must have them around all the time! .............So I visit the pet store every chance I get.

They require more time and attention than I can give right now.....so it is best to love them from afar.

I did same thing for my two Dogs when they were Puppies

I wanted a puppy or dog in general but I could not get one anywhere because people have got greedy with prices and everybody is wanting dogs now. Even rescue dogs are very hard to get to impossible. I gave up and rescued 3 rabbits instead but I can't exactly take them out for walks or interact with them like I would a dog. It gives me something to cuddle now and sit with.
