Hi, friends,

Christ is risen!

Does anybody know what Orthodox books were first published in English around 1977 - mid to late 1970s?
my guess would be to look up Schmemann, Rose, Florovsky, Romanides, Pomazansky, Meyendorff, Hopko, yadda.

Saint Innocent: Apostle to America was published at the end of the 70s, and is even dedicated to me (and two of my sisters, and my mom.)
Cool! Thanks.

Asking this question with regard to the current book I'm working on. Thanks again!

This is a very good little book with a substantial and short overview of the Church by the late Archbishop Paul of Finland. It is from 1978 and timeless in itself. The link is good despite the vague address.

So many books, so little time!

I wish I had more time to read. I would love to study Orthodoxy more and own a copy of The Orthodox Church by Timothy Ware but have not read it yet. Work takes up most of my waking time.

Such is life.

The book I have linked by late Archbishop Paul of Finland is a good, easy & short read. If you can get it, it is only about 100 pages. Anymore, I prefer shorter reads also.
