Let me try this....You have proven evolution is a fact?

It has been repeatedly tested for the last 150+ years, and it has passed every test so far. Therefore the chances of it being fundamentally wrong are vanishingly small.

Adding. . . The only ways I can think of for common descent not to be true would also apply to every other fact, e.g. maybe I'm having a psychotic break, or maybe we're all part of a computer simulation, or maybe some unpleasant demiurge has created the illusion of common descent.

What do you mean by fact? We have shown(*) that common descent is overwhelmingly likely to be true. For me, that's a fact, and I consider common descent to a fact.

(*) Not in this thread, but by the body of biological data over the last century and a half.

"Overwhelmingly likely", and especially only O.L. to some, is not a factual evolution. I know opposite things as OL to me, and for very simple reasons I've already mentioned, so that meant little here either way. Your getting a bit sly now, as in trying to present something as true, when even you know it's not.

Then you have proven it a theory, something no one is arguing with? It that fair to say?

I asked you what you meant by fact. You didn't say. Based on what you write here, there are no facts. So what are we arguing about?

I'm trying to be accurate -- that's the way scientists frequently are. I'm also trying to be courteous and take your comments seriously, but statements like this makes it difficult. Common descent is a fact. In practice, I have no doubt about it at all.
Then you have proven it a theory, something no one is arguing with? It that fair to say?
No, that's a ridiculous thing to say. Facts don't stop being facts just because some crackpot rejects them. Again, if that were true, there would be no facts.

That so funny! I looked at the one site and guess what I found, supposition and assumptions. Not one tested verified experiment to show there was a common ancestor. Just the same old tired stuff that says in basic "this has a similarity to this therefore we have a common ancestor.". It's all a bunch of assumption wrapped in supposition. No one has observed or tested that one thing evolves into something else.

Before you go all nuts and point to how a lizard changed on an island from one species of lizard into another species of lizard and that proves evolution, let me remind you that I already agreed that can happen. One type of creature can adapt and change due to it's environment in order to survive. That's God's magnificent way to keep life going. What we don't see is a creature turning into something it wasn't in the first place.

Fact is fact. I don't play with definitions....I mean what the dictionary mean in the context to subject.

Thank you, to both of you and yes, by definition, it is a fact that evolution is a Theory.
Common descent is a fact. Anyone who denies common descent is denying reality.

Once again since you do not understand the basics of science, which I have offered to over over with you, you do not understand what "proof", "facts", or even "evidence" is. As a result your are inconsistent in what you demand and what you accept. Your failed over analogy comes to mind.

I assume that you take gravity as a fact. By the exact same standards evolution is a fact. Being afraid to learn will keep you in the dark. You can't even properly judge or compare ideas because of this lack. It would not take too much of an investment in time to begin to understand how ideas are tested and confirmed.

If constantly pretending a lack of understanding is all you have then so be it, but as I've said, it's not going to cut it as a defense. You need to prove evolution is a fact and stop wasting our time with sleight of hand/confusing the issue with untrue accusations.

Until you do, as much as I tried, I honestly cannot take you seriously any longer.

And that proves evolution is more than a theory?
It means it's true. Isn't that what matters, rather than what you call it?

The Germ Theory of Disease is a theory. It's also a fact that germs cause disease. You can talk all you want about proof, theories, and facts. The Ebola virus will still kill you. We're still related to chimpanzee.
