  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Where did I say "no matter what"? I can only comment on your theology as you present it here.

I'm not trying to present anything. More like trying to ascertain people's opinions.

If "evil" is the only option other than "good", then yes.

What other option would there be other than good?

How about you? Can you consider something that is unethical and morally bankrupt to be "good"?

I'm confused at your question. Do you automatically consider God to be unethical and morally bankrupt?

You do bring into this thread a preconceived concept of "God", do you not?

Neutral, amoral.

Not at all. I explained my position in post #78, in response to you. If a judge presides over its own interests, I would consider it unethical, and if it were hold one accountable for things beyond ones control, I would consider that morally bankrupt.

How about you? Do you think it "good" to hold one accountable for things beyond one's control?
