I agree...the war is multi-pronged. Tearing down history is only one of the prongs.
Seattle and Chad is another.
Antifa is another.
BLM is another.
Fauci and his lockdown was another.
I saw that yesterday. I decided not to respond and instead go into the spirit. It's tiring around here, all we see is news. It seems people focus on the temporal when they need Christ, so I went that route at least for that point in time. But ya, uncivilized is a good term, actually it kind of made me chuckle a bit when I read that because that is just so you to say something like that in the midst of anarchy lol !!
Personally, I would stop with national heroes who committed atrocities that were considered controversial at the time. There is no need to honor someone who quite literally stole people's land (since he was actually denied the authority to do so by another branch of the government) and then got a significant fraction of them killed during a forced march across the country. This was one of the objectively darkest moments in American history, and it is very much attached to a specific individual: Andrew Jackson.

Martin Luther King Jr.? Dorothy Day? Abraham Lincoln? I don't mind the Founding Fathers.
Everyone has skeletons, but not everyone's skeletons are of equal size. This is "everyone sins, so who cares if someone's setting up internment camps?" logic. If "genocide" is in someone's closet, and it's recent enough memory that the victims are still around, we should consider not memorializing them.
His monuments weren't meant to commemorate those dark events. Protestors should make their own effigies of those and destroy them, as is done in other countries.
You can find articles where MLK watched and laughed as a women was raped. I don't know if it's true. Some may object to his statue based upon those grounds. Just saying.
Seriously, you're eating and having a nice time. Then all hell breaks loose. Someone tried to leave and was prevented from doing so. They were probably afraid. These are mad times.
If you're communing with the Lord He'll order your steps. Last night I dreamt about a backlash. I had three dreams in succession with different messages. The backlash was the second. Each depicted a noticeable slide that worsened with the next. I understood what He was telling me. We're moving overseas next year. But I may need to tweak my schedule. I'm watching and listening to Him.

Other countries are tearing down and defacing statues too. The French are absolutely going to town over this also.
Sorry, I meant that other countries, especially in the middle east, make effigies of our leaders and destroy them as a political statement.
If a broadly based attack on white people happened the backlash would be horrendous. No one does backlash better than white people. It would be a tragedy of epic proportions for the black community. Let us pray this thing doesn't go that far.
Andrew Jackson the only President to root out the den of vipers. He is called Stonewall for a reason. Readers I hope you realize during Jackson's presidency was the only time America was not in debt to the world bank.WASHINGTON — Protesters defaced a statue of Andrew Jackson in Lafayette Square outside the White House on Monday night as they tried to topple it, according to the Interior Department and media reports.

The Jackson statue remained on its pedestal, according to The Associated Press. Videos posted on social media showed that the protesters had climbed on the statue and tied ropes around it, then tried to pull it off its pedestal, the AP said.
When asked about reports of pepper spray being used in Lafayette Park, a National Park Service spokesperson told NBC News: "I am still gathering information, but it is accurate that pepper spray was used to disengage the protesters from the statue and clear the area."
Interior Secretary David L. Bernhardt said in a statement that he had just left the scene at Lafayette Square "where another so called 'peaceful protest' led to destruction tonight. Let me be clear: we will not bow to anarchists. Law and order will prevail, and justice will be served."
He added that the Jackson statue has been "defaced by criminals who sought to topple the statue recognizing the seventh President of the United States. Law enforcement officers ensured that this would not happen."
The U.S. Park Police with assistance from Washington, D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service tried to prevent destruction of the statue, a spokesperson for the Park Police told NBC News.
Interior Department spokesperson Nicholas Goodwin said arrests were made in Lafayette Square, but didn't provide any further details.

Stonewall Jackson was a Confederate General. And while the US national debt was paid off during Jackson's presidency, it also started to rise again during his term.Andrew Jackson the only President to root out the den of vipers. Can you name a person you would like to see memorialized in a statue?
I think this stuff belongs in the conspiracy theory forum. This stuff is so far fetched. On the spiritual level....the spirit of antichrist and one world order.
On the fleshly level....George Soros may be the top funder.
Whenever I see protestors tearing down statues and rioting, I always feel like this little dog because I know that I can't do anything about it at all. It's quite sad.
