Watchman Nee(倪柝声) is a famous person in Chinese and international Christianity. However, his theology and lifestyle are highly controversial in Chinese Christianity. Some people around him knew some truth about him, but non Chinese people do not know it.

I've read many of his books. Most of them are notes taken from his teaching rather than books he wrote himself. I have no problem with most of his theology. The areas I disagree with are not fundamental. I've read a biography about him also. A lot of Christians in the West have difficulty with Nee also. Many object to Nee's anti denomination stance. Many do not understand the spirit/soul distinction. Personally, I have found his teachings of great value.
