I guess Holy Roller will speak for himself when he comes back online; however, it seems as though he's saying that HE believes that homosexuality is not a choice but innate. He's also saying that he believes people - whether they be Christian or not - really know that to be true. In other words he believes - it appears - that homosexuals are getting a bad rap from people who, deep down, really DO know better.

The 14th amendment says: All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Equal protection includes minorities. And as the Supreme court ruled in Romer vs. Evans it covers all minorities even the unpopular ones.
The amendment has been applied to various issues of civil rights including interracial marriage. It was also used to end segregation, it was used ot overturn laws baring minorities from serving on juries.
The Supreme Court also used the Fourteenth Amendment's Due Process Clause as providing substantive protection to private contracts such as marraige
