Proposed Changes the SDA doctrine in order to make more accurate and based on the Bible And not EGW

I was thinking about trying to develop a certificate for SEA theology.


In addition to that I was thinking about is it possible to reconcile covenantalism and dispensationalism

If you look at Patristic and Eastern theology, which heavily influenced Martin Luther, John Calvin, Thomas Cranmer and especially John Wesley, you will find a scenario where they are kept in harmony with each other.

Why do you think theory is important? No theory has anything to do with salvation.

One of the major conflicts that comes as a result of the Sabbath or Sunday issues is they pit them against each other. My theory solves that problem. It is not an either or issue. It's one less area of conflict.

The beautiful thing in scripture there was no controversy on which day was the Sabbath, not one argument over the seventh day verses the first day, this all came after scripture, the only argument in scripture was how to keep the Sabbath, where the Pharisees were adding their rules to God's holy Sabbath day.

Man is not going to solve this issue, God already did, if we believe the scriptures through faith, God made clear which day is His holy day. Isaiah 58:13 Exo 20:10 Gen 2:1-3 Isa 66:23 and one of His commandments-Exo 20:8-11 there is no debate, only do we believe His written and spoken Word or believe outside of scripture and believe man over the clear Word of God.

It doesn't seem to me like that should be a difficult doctrine to adopt.

3. Sunday, as mark of the beast, for trying to set up the kingdom of God on earth and not waiting for Jesus to come and rule from Jerusalem for 1000 years.
4. 666 pointing to Solomon , A type of Christ and Anti-Christ, making a compermise with the world. 1 Kings 10:4, 2 Chron 9:13.
5. The pre-fall nature of Christ. To be fair most of Mainline SDA Church believes this. it is only those that support EGW that believe Jesus had a post fall nature.
6. Soul Sleep - there is a Body, Soul & Spirit and upon death, the Spirit return to God, the Body return to the dust and the Soul goes to Sheol, the Chamber of Darkness and is a sleep. This is in the O.T. After Christ come a Modification take places. if a person accepts Christ, then the Soul & Spirit will go to heaven for the believer, and the body to the grave. the soul and spirit are reunited with the body at the Advent, when the saints are taken to the marriage supper of the lamb (1Thess. 4:13,14). For the Unbeliever it is the same as the OT.
7. The Advent happens before the tribulation, where the faithful saints are taken out of this world to the Marriage supper of the Lamb and return at the beginning of the 1000 years.

8. The unfaithful saints must go through the tribulation and are part of the 144000 & The Great multitude that no man can number. Rev 7:4, Rev 14:1,3, Ezra 2:13, Rev 13:18, 1Kings 10:14, 2Chron 9:13

Sabbath was kept changed for over 300 years until the time of Constintine, then due to politics , the Holiness of the Day was transferred to the first day of the Week or the Lords's day. it was now a sign of loyality to the State. Sabbath was eventually banned due to defection during a time of persecution. It became "anathama" to observe sabbath.
2. The Lord's Day - was established by the Apostles. it was based on the Resurrection, the post ressurecction of Jesus and Jesus Fulfilling the Festivals: Palm Sunday(Lamb selection Sunday) Resurrection Sunday(First Fruits) & Holy Spirit Sunday (Pentacost). All on the first day of the week. It was an ADDITION to the Sabbath observance not a Replacement. It was Observed as a Festival, NOT a Sabbath, NOT a day of no work, until the time of Constantine. Due to politics, Sylverter I the bishop of Rome transfered the Holiness of Sabbath to the Lord's day. Eventually due to politics the Lord's day usurped the Sabbath and then replaced it.

That Jesus had our post fall nature is one of the most comforting beliefs the SDA church has. That He was able to overcome sin with the same sinful nature I have is a great comfort and gives me great faith in His power to recreate us in His image having the same spiritual He created us with.

It testifies to His great love for us that He would take that risk to save us. That anyone would take offense at that belief baffles me..

We are fully agreed on this too. AH is an outright slanderer of the SDA church. I've demonstrated to him his accusations are untrue and he still keeps on posting them.

Until the Seventh-day Adventist Church removes those who disagree with the 28 fundamental beliefs they will continue to have calls for reform from the various members who do not agree with the 28. As it is they are still members of the church. This includes a number of ministers.

Adventist Heretic is in fact part of the church.
