God has been speaking to me today about how the most unexpected are selected at times by Him..... I asked him why certain people I know personally and respected greatly fell away while others did not.

His answer was they had great strength in themselves. Natural strength and great gifts. But they had pride. We all reach a quiting point.. some of us sooner than others. But when that quiting point comes , is where God's strength is there. But only if we let go of our pride.....We religious people can have pride in our ability to get an answer to prayer , to have faith...sounds crazy , I know. But it is true. Myself , I recognise that there are many who can pray better and believe better than me. But there is a place in praying through where I reach my quiting point and cry out to God to help me even to believe and pray because it is not in me to do what is needed for victory. It is amazing what happens then.
wow. That is good! Amen to that.

My hearts desire is to be holy before Him and have an intimate relationship that is pure and holy.

AMEN BROTHER! I have seen in the spiritual what happens when pride raises its ugly head. What's that scripture? Pride cometh before a fall...and boy is that "always" true!

And, sister HD, praying for you! :hug: HE "is" in control...and I am sure He will find a way, even though you do not see it yet, amen! :prayer:

Be back later! :wave: your sis, hannah

Firey, I got this for you....
Psalm 31:14-16
14 But I trust in you, O LORD;
I say, "You are my God."

15 My times are in your hands;
deliver me from my enemies
and from those who pursue me. 16 Let your face shine on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love.

This is for you, and then I heard "his times are in my hands" and I believe that is about your fil.

This next word is for someone else...

There is some one here who is being double minded in their ways, here and elsewhere...James 1:6-8 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

Your ways are unstable, because you are living a double life.

Hey sweetie. He's holding his own. Hoping to get the ventilator off by Friday if he continues to breathe on his own once in a while. Still pretty sick but we can see tiny changes for the better. Praise God!

Yes Praise God!!! He's in my prayers along with the rest of your family!!!
