Amen my friend.....I might add that a lot of us like to be in this thread because of the love that is in here....not so much the prophecy. God just adds that as a bonus. And mind you....I don't think there is a person in here who would not want you to be with us. If you are still unsure about the whole idea of prophecy...sit in a couple of times with us...and you will see what it is about. It really is about sharing God's love. I will reflect on your words today. Thank you!!I left this thread once, and I won't stay long, as I have been told, strife and division do not belong here and despite what is in my heart, mind, soul, or posts, it has come. But as I left for the day, I began working on the next leg of my journey of love. It was as I dwelt on this aspect that the Lord pierced my heart with a message that I could not keep to myself. And so, I will summon all my strength and come here one last time to share with you a small glimpse of the Love God is showing to me. Now, the trick, actually putting it into words.
In this world, there are many things that hurt us, many things that bind us, wound us, upset us, destroy us, or at least they try. And sometimes, those things cloud our eyes and we cannot see love even when it is right in front of us. When it is within us to such a degree that our hearts are ready to burst, we still sometimes don't recognize love. Sometimes when we do get past of the bad and recognize love, it fleets away as more bad comes along and confuses us. The trick is learning to recognize love when we see it, rather than brushing it aside so carelessly or dismissing it without a moments hesitation.
Love is a wonderous gift from God a gift that should be cherished and held with awe. A gift of such greatness that it's value is unfathomable. And yet, we discard it so causually that is becomes almost invisible. (time for a deep breath and quick prayer of courage)
We trade love for other gifts that we deem of more value, whether that be prophecy, tongues, wealth, health, or worldly love (or a host of other things).
Many of us know already that God loves us, some of us haven't yet grasped it's significance. The real trick isn't in knowing God loves us, but rather in recognizing that love when it touches our lives. It can be directly from God, or from someone we consider unclean. It could be from a neighbor, a friend, a stranger, a homeless person on the street, or it could come in the form of someone who was sent to challenge your ideas even if she didn't know she was doing so.
I am right now working on a series of books about Love, I won't go into that with you all right now. What happens with the books is God's not mine, I am simply at the moment obeying Him and putting it down on paper. My challenge to you today, is find out how you can recognize love when it happens. How do you know it when it touches your life? Even when the world tries to strip you from all hope, how do you see love when it is sitting right in front of your face?
Sorry for the interuption, I just needed to be obedient to my King.
May you all see love wherever it resides and may you have the courage and strength to hold it, and protect it, with an understanding of how valuable it really is.
Amen Hannah!!! Great word...it almost made my "spirit" stand at attention!!Razzel,
I have a word that someone gave to me...when I was kinda in the same place where you are, and it is this:
You have prayed..God has heard...and a camel is starting to stand up somewhere in the world...to make your prayer come to light, amen. Just be patient with those around you...and "all good things shall be added to you"...in HIS perfect timing.A sister in Christ, hannah
