Artos.. The Lord is with you.. He wants to strengthen you and build you up.. He loves you dearly.. you are His child and He is your Father.. Don't worry about anything.. instead pray about everything.. I don't claim these words to be prophetic in content.. but hopefully they are an encouragement! Love and blessings!!

Honestly.............when one gives a 'word' from God... it is still "FROM" God. Yes...you can hear directly from God, but you can also receive a word from God through a person who has been given that word to pass on to another. Being obedient to our Father is the KEY!!! Never let fear and intimidation from 'mere man' prevent you from being obedient to the call God has placed on your life and in your heart.

You know, I don't even take prophecies to my pastor anymore. He would just tell me to stop getting prophecies from people online because it's dangerous. My response is that I test the word no matter who it came from, whether it is from someone online or a trusted friend!

Does anyone else get the same reaction from people
they know about getting prophecies online?

yes, we are supposed to pray about everything we hear and make sure it is from God.

my pastor would do the same thing...and he would be right. he does not say much but the things he says even in passing are very accurate. i was referring to taking a recorded word to the pastor, so he can hear it. i did that and he did listen to it very carefully. i already knew it was from God, but because he was praying with me about something very serious that i was going through. i wanted him to hear the word that i received. i am not into online prophecies, but ... people have posted things here that were a blessing to me, at just the right time, and i know that God led them to post. one of the poems that was posted i did share with my pastor, and he agreed that it was prophetic. what he did say "i want to read that again...the second part of it is prophetic". so depending on how you hear from God, and if you are comfortable sharing these things with your pastor, i think it is a good thing to do.
but continue listen to him, because the Bible says that he is looking out for your soul.

Hey Jesusfreak, I just wanted to encourage you.. Not that my words are straight from God and you should study every single one But just as a brother taking to a sister.. Be encouraged.. Hang on to the Lords promises.. behold Him for who He is.. Be still and quiet yourself so that the Lord can really start communing with you.. The Lord delights in you sister.. He really does... He has a unique plan for your life and has ever single breath and sigh written down in His book.. love you!

My pastor only says the former and not the latter, which deeply concerns me. We should not discard things automatically just because they come from a stranger. God could use anyone on this earth to speak on His behalf!

So no advice to me, thank you. I already know how I am to respond to my pastor's advice. For my own curiousity, I just want to know how people react when you tell them that you've gotten prophecies from people online before. Anyone?

i'm sorry if you feel that i was trying to give you advice.

but somebody else might want to read what i have to say. and if i read something on a post that i feel that i want to answer, i will. if they don't want to read it, they can ignore it.
personally i don't get prophecies online, God can use anyone to do anything He so chooses to do...however no one has ever prophesied to me online and the only one who tried was way off base.

I just want to encourage you to hold on to the hope of His calling (Eph. 1:17-18) God has a special plan for you.. Even if rough times come and you start wondering if you're doing the right thing just keep in mind that you are a child of the One and only True God of the universe.. The God who gives you unique finger prints and a personality has a unique and very special plan for your life.. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.. God can't turn down a broken spirit.. remember.. "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"

I don't claim this to be a word from God but just some love from a fellow brother in Christ wanting to take care of his sister

You are so precious in the fathers eyes.. dear to His heart.. I was just scanning over your post and felt so much peace and love.. I don't know if it was towards you or from you... but I just want to encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord.. He wants to teach you new things everyday.. He wants to reveal things to you that you never even knew of.. He is your Father and you are His princess..

Again.. nothing I say is meant to be a "prophetic word" just love from one brother to a sister blessings and may God fill you to overflowing!

Just as the waterfoul of the air hear the silent voice commanding them to fly south at the apraoach of winter. So must we each be open and willing to hear the silent voice the gives each of us our direction and timming.
It is not a questian of if,or when or which way but our ability to hear a silent voice wich gives each of us a nuge in the right direction and at the right time.
We hear this silent voice by drawing near to God in prayer and in study of His word and by living and walking in Love.
If you will draw yourself near to God and walk in Gods Way, walking in Love towards God and all others just as the waterfoul of the air hear the silent voice guiding them so shall you hear the voice of the Holy spirit guiding you in the season you need to be guided in.
Being in Gods presense direction and timming shall silently fall upon you.

I feel like the Lord is preparing you for something great.. I just wanted to encourage you to keep going.. to keep your eyes on the prize and to continue to live life to the fullest! The Lord will continue to draw you away if you continue to pursue Him! He will continue to show Himself to you if you keep looking for Him.. Be encouraged! He loves you very much and would go GREAT distances just to make your day or see you smile! blessings brother!

i posted these so you would know that you are on the right track. you hear from the Lord, when you minister to others it's not about how many words you say, it is all about saying what the WORD says. and you did that.
i really needed that today.
