What I Want For Christmas

Precious child, have you ever wondered what was going through My mind just before I left Heaven to be born of a woman? Have you ever wondered what My Father's last words to Me were just before the moment of My birth? Do you fully understand why I came?

One reason I came was to be the perfect sacrifice to save you from your sin and bring you eternal life. But there is more to the story. I came because of My great love for you, but it was more than just love that caused Me to walk among you all those years, teaching you and revealing the Father to you.

I also choose to come to earth because I desire a deep and intimate personal relationship with you. I didn't just want to save you, I also wanted us to become close friends and companions. That is right. Your friendship is very precious to Me. It is something that I cannot
have unless you choose to give it to Me.

When I created you, I gave you a mind and a will. I gave you the ability to love and the ability to choose who you extend your friendship to. My desire is that you will choose to give it to Me, so we might be close friends and walk in deep intimacy together. I am a God of relationship, and a close personal relationship with each of My own is so important to Me.

I have given Myself to you; I have paid the price. I have extended an invitation to you. Now it is up to you whether or not you choose to accept it. Will you love Me as much as I have loved you? Will you choose to spend your time with Me and become My close friend? Will you give yourself to Me to accomplish My purposes? Will you do that in gratitude for how I gave Myself for you?

Dear one, I love you dearly and that is why I came on that first Christmas.

Earlier I asked you if you knew what thought that was running through My mind just before I left Heaven to be born. Now I will tell you what it was: it was an eager anticipation for a deep and personal intimacy with you, for each of you who have believed in Me and been called by My name.

Precious one, I am glad that you choose to obey Me, but I want your obedience to rise out of your great love for Me. I want to be close friends with you, and I want us to spend a lot of time together, enjoying each other's company. I want us to walk together in intimacy, that I might show you more and more of Myself. I want to reveal things of God to you that can only be shown to those who are friends of God.

This year for Christmas, will you give Me the thing that I so greatly desire? I desired it on that first Christmas, when I came to give Myself to you, and I still want it now. I want us to walk in intimacy together and I want us to be close friends.

I came to draw you close to Myself--now I am asking you to draw close to Me. Will you give Me that for Christmas this day?

Hebrews however have another word for peace...it's called Shaloam...which also means nothing missing nothing broken total wholeness.

This is not just for me but Jesus came to restore all things so that nothing is missing and nothing is broken..."sozo" salvation if you will. This is too big for just me it is for the entire body of Christ...

This hit me like a two by four between the eyes. I have often tried to describe the one time I heard the audible "out loud" Voice of God Jesus stepped out of the fire of sacrifice (in a vision) and said "Peace" I knew it meant so much more how he had my back and everything would work out etc... but that definition of peace somes it up so well. I have waited well over 20 years for Him to complete the work he started that day specifically with reguards to my marriage. you can't know how much that encouraged me.

I often get one word or a concept. Sometimes it may seem dumb, but its usually because I may not have analogized it as Paul tells us to do in Romans 1:26...so...

Seder is the word I hear for her.

For Christians, the Seder is the Passover Communion. It is the Feast of Unleavened Bread and within the sanctuary of the bretheren, it is called the Agape Feast in remembrance of Jesus' love for us.

During the Passover Seder, there is a Haggadah or telling of the deliverance of the Jews from the slavery of Egypt and the trials of the wilderness. These are written scripts. Let your haggadah or "telling of deliverance" come from your heart and no script of men.

Perhaps it is within your personal Seder that you will see the manifestation of the shalom you are promised.

Revelation 12:10-12



And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

God is great!
and i know this is from God. and what i also believe is that it is not always about having a personal word for somebody, that is OK i don't make light of it...but having a word in due season, saying what God told you to say, is prophetic. if God says to post a poem, post it, you never know who needs it. if he says to post a link, post it. if he says to post a picture of something, somebody needs to see it. it is about obeying God, and doing exactly what He told you to do, when he tells you to do it.

LOL, well I guess I should share this with you.

I think one of my Christmas "presents" was a dream...I mean I just had it today.

In the dream, Hephzibah and I were seated on a fairly big rock in the middle of a large stream. It wasn't so deep or fast that you couldn't stand up and walk around in it, but it wasn't an insignificant flow of water either.

We were sitting on the rock with our feet in the water. In the dream, Dr. Myles Munroe came to us. He put his hands into the river and brought out hands filled with the water. First, he annointed Hephzibah with it. Then he took more water and annointed me with it.

I listened carefully to his words as he anointed us, but they weren't meant for me to hear.

Dr. Munroe's focus of late has been entirely on teaching the Kingdom of God. To me the dream represented a fresh anointing from the Word revealing more of the Kingdom to us.

Because I tried to listen to his words and heard nothing, it probably means I need to get it from the Word itself and not through Dr. Munroe.

It all ties together as part of a huge picture He's been painting...the Kingdom, The Power and The Glory...and how to walk in its fullness.

A very timely word bithia2, thank you for being faithful with it

I used to take a friend camping with us, he was kind of lazy and never helped us gather wood for a fire and low and behold when we would get the fire burning at its greatest he would stand in front of the fire unzip his pants and urinate into the fire. The fire never was affected but the smell was horrible for a long time. It eventually got to the point we just stoped asking the old fire urinater to go with us.

i met Dr. Myles Munroe before, i want to go back to his church so i can tell him that the word he spoke to me came to pass.
