CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Psa 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psa 34:2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Psa 34:3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
Psa 34:4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
Psa 34:5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
Psa 34:6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
Psa 34:7 The angel[1] of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
Psa 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Psa 34:9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
Psa 34:10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
Psa 34:11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Psa 34:12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
Psa 34:13 Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
Psa 34:14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
Psa 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.

To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

I know!!!!!! It's been FOREVER! lol. Not much besides school and soakin' in the Glory and gettin' drunk a lot lately. LOL! Of course, drunk with the Holy Ghost.

Great job!!
My oldest son's team (Varsity) is 5-1 overall. 3-1 in district play. We have 3 games left and there are 4 teams tied for first at 3-1. Gonna be an interesting 3 weeks!! He is receiver, snapper for field goals/extra points, and does special teams. He is a backup safety on defense.
My youngest son's season was messed up because of Hurricane Ike. They are JV and didn't get to play some of their games because Varsity games had to be rescheduled. So they've only played two district games and are 1-1. My son got to start at QB this week. And played defense the whole game except for the last 2 or 3 minutes of the game. He did a great job!
