Being still and waiting on God is awesome, ya' just can't beat that!

I don't really know if this is His wisdom, but praying so....The tempter that is in your path and is someone close...is ususally...like Job...how God gets our attention that someone we love may not committed to Him. Now with that said...most people in my life, including a jewish family tempt me daily in some way shape or form "to give up my faith in Christ".

I always look at all this like...Well, if I wasn't close to our Lord...satan would have "no" reason to look at me or care what I was doing! I would already be his. So the refining fires or threshing floor sometimes feels like God isn't close. But, it all is just a test of faith...will you give in to this person? Or will you stand in Him? This imho...is why I believe we have ugly moments with those we love, and with the world in general...because HE is teaching us just like He did with His own apostles, so through trials... maybe like me you could just "hold HIM" and pray! Amen!

Sorry to have rambled on about this...but my life and my family "are" hard to deal with and there are ugly moments...but I "try" to chalk them up to learning something new, or look at it like...God loves me, satan knows and therefore is roaring about seeking to whom he may devour. Let it not be you, me or anyone else here! Amen!

I personally think you need to go back and re-read some of the posts here. If I am not mistaken someone gave you a word to go thru and make sure that you have nothing standing between you and God.......I also believe you indicated that you had and that there was nothing - however you also said something about reading certain books......are these books still in your possession? Just asking you to really search deep...........

Good afternoon everyone!

GUESS WHAT?! I'm outta school until August! WOO!!! hahaha. I'm sorta sad though because I'll miss a lot of my friends who I don't see over the summer. I'll be with them in spirit though!

If anyone has a word for me that would be awesome. I'm going through some awesome times and something is going on with me spiritually that's like crazy. Crazy as in amazing crazy. lol. Thanks so much!

I am sorry you believe God has turned His back on you. He hasn't. There's a reason for all of this that you are going through.

As for a word, do you not realize that a "word" would come directly from God, and if you believe God has turned His back on you, why would He give someone else a word for you?

I'm not trying to be mean at all. I am just trying to speak some truth here in love.

If I am not mistaken someone gave you a word to go thru and make sure that you have nothing standing between you and God.......I also believe you indicated that you had and that there was nothing - however you also said something about reading certain books......are these books still in your possession? I'm glad you brought the subject of the books up. That opens the door for me to say what I wanted to say the other day, and did not, but here goes. deep breath...
Rose, God would not have you to read those books. They are not from God. The time you have spent reading those books and searching for other answers, you could have spent reading His Word. Not once have I read that you have searched the scriptures for Him saying a word to you directly. There is always encouragement in the Word of God, and there is nothing, I repeat NOTHING like having God speak a Rhema word directly into your life.
In Philippians it reads that we must think upon thngs that are pure and holy, just, kind, winsome, gracious..Not other things. That would be like me picking up a spiritual warfare book and spending time reading on how to do battle with the devil, when I could pick up the Bible and read how much He cares, and reading about the battles the people of the OT did, and how Paul standing in dung clear up to his knees in the jail was singing praises to God in the midnight hour, and he did not give up. God sent an angel to bust Him out. But, Paul was immersed in the Word. He held it constantly before His face night and day.

I, too, am going through a particularly trying time, and I believe that God would have me to help you, encourage you, to remind me of His goodness and faithfulness to His children..
I am holding on to Him for all I have in me, but, I know He is holding even tighter to me.
I pray that you find Him, Rose. For He is right there.

Praise Him in anticipation that He will provide, praise Him for just who he is.

There is only one thing left that can be gotten rid of....your mindset. You have so many prayer threads and you speak the word that God HAS abandoned you, God hates widows and orphans, God HAS turned His back on you. God cannot turn from man, only man turns from God. You have claimed it as a declaration. Please be careful! Words to the Father are powerful!
Even Job sitting in the street, covered in sores, rags, with nothing and no one never proclaimed that God had abandoned him.
I beg of you to stop proclaiming this as what is in God's mind.

Gal 6:7 - Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
I will continue to pray for you and that you change your mind.

Okay, Rose we hear you and we don't want to be Job's comforters in the midst of the storm but Jesus loves you and remember we are to praise Him in the midst of the storm.

WE break the generational curse of poverty in Rose's family in the name of Jesus, and we declare for Rose and for all of us, that our heritage is to be prospered by God for He will not harm us and anything else is from the pit of hell.

I feel God is saying "seek me first"

Almost as if there is something of your old life you are hanging on to.
He wants you to concentrate 100% on Him.

Rose, I once read a book called "The 'I' in the storm." I don't remember who wrote it but do you see what is happening here.

In the midst of life's storms who are you centred on?


God never ever turns His back on you.

Mar 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.



We all need to examine ourselves in light of that verse not just you Rose.
