I'm proud of you Josh, for confessing you got it wrong before all of us, well here goes my own confession, today I traveled in a taxi and I was witnessing to the taxi driver who was skeptical and the Lord said to me to tell him he has been married 35 years and I played dumb in case I got it wrong, but that came from the Lord, so I repent of getting it wrong too.

Jesus said we should hear His voice and follow Him.

Thanks! Talking to others and confessing sins to others helps sooooo much.

Amen! We should hear His voice and follow Him. We need to quit dropping our cross. We have to take our cross and follow in His footsteps, we can't stop and get a breather or take a nap because we're tired. The battle is tough but we have the victory because of He who died for our sins and He who loved us. HALLELUJAH!

Irene...Wondering if something is the word of God or the ramblings of our busy mind is a fight we all fight. Just take it as a life lesson and move past it. Receive forgiveness and be blessed.
All of you here are doing such a blessed job in Christ! How fantastic it is to see such gifts being used for the betterment of the kingdom.

As for me... I owe you all an apology as well. Not long ago many of you were venting about your personal circumstances and I boldly posted against it and gave everyone the "buck up and get with it" talk. I know that I am a bit overpowering in my fervor of the Lord. I forget that others aren't the crusty old bird that I am and I probably offended some. For that I offer an apology. Let me humble myself to you and to my Lord.

And now a praise report I led two of the girls I have been working with for a number of months to Jesus today. Praise the Lord! And here was me feeling so guilty and condemned! Seriously the Lord is teaching me a few things and through the current outpouring in our church, He is shaking and training us.

This is what happens when the Word of the Lord comes forth.
Repentance is nothing more than returning to the highest place from which you have fallen.

Pent means "high place". this is where the word "penthouse" comes from. Re means to do again. So, all God is requiring of you is to be restored to the highest place with Him.

Josh, I'm glad you heard the soft gentle voice of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes He can be quite loud, but in all the other junk in our minds yelling, He doesn't yell over them.

Possibly facing a difficult time this evening - please be praying for me that I will choose words and actions wisely and honor God with both. I have someone that is very close to me that unknowingly allows satan to use them against me as a tempter. PLEASE be praying and any words of encouragement would be great.

Being still and waiting on God is awesome, ya' just can't beat that!

I don't really know if this is His wisdom, but praying so....The tempter that is in your path and is someone close...is ususally...like Job...how God gets our attention that someone we love may not committed to Him. Now with that said...most people in my life, including a jewish family tempt me daily in some way shape or form "to give up my faith in Christ".

I always look at all this like...Well, if I wasn't close to our Lord...satan would have "no" reason to look at me or care what I was doing! I would already be his. So the refining fires or threshing floor sometimes feels like God isn't close. But, it all is just a test of faith...will you give in to this person? Or will you stand in Him? This imho...is why I believe we have ugly moments with those we love, and with the world in general...because HE is teaching us just like He did with His own apostles, so through trials... maybe like me you could just "hold HIM" and pray! Amen!

Sorry to have rambled on about this...but my life and my family "are" hard to deal with and there are ugly moments...but I "try" to chalk them up to learning something new, or look at it like...God loves me, satan knows and therefore is roaring about seeking to whom he may devour. Let it not be you, me or anyone else here! Amen!
