I was half listening because the stuff she was talking about has been long dealt with. It didn't need to be brought up.
That's how satan's prophecy works. If you have ever met a medium or spiritual prophet of the devil this is how they operate. I used to date one, and she was a kind person to me before I was a Christian. While she would get knowledge from the devil about things, she was still a human being and she was nicer than I was at the time (and still is on some of my bad days.)
But you see, when she would tell me "facts" this is how satanic prophecy works. It is a fact you had that stuff happen to you in the past. Who cares? Old things have passed away, all things are new in Christ Jesus.
The last thing God is going to do is start drudging up your past if you are over it. If you're over it, then God is certainly over it. God looks ahead, not behind.
Prophets who are legitimate soothsayers of satan's kingdom, can prophecy almost perfectly, facts. The devil watches an event, writes it down, and it's a fact. Then he goes tells one of these individuals what happened as a game to impress. Sometimes satan gets a future event to happen. But his odds aren't perfect when looking ahead, since that's up to God not him.
Prophecy of God reveals the hidden revelation of God's future oriented wisdom, knowledge, through faith hope and love, to
EDIFY.
If she was a real prophet, she would be edifying you, not telling you facts. Facts usually do not edify.
Most ministers I listen to know about "facts" vs. the truth. God is truth, and he calls those things that be not as though they were.
That said, be kind to her. When I became a Christian, one of the things the devil did try to do was give me one of these false spirits to get "revelation". I had to come out of it by just focusing on the word.
And if she was trained by someone, then those other guys probably have the same false spirit and she just inherited the thing.
That sort of spirit is harmless to other Christians if they don't listen to it. It hurts her the worst by being ensnared by it.
I receive that "(mistake #2).
Later at night, in my sleep, I got attacked in my spirit.
Just say, "I no longer receive that." Speak it, mean it. You probably just opened a door for the devil through her false prophecy stuff, when you said, "I receive that."
Also, don't be impressed by what the devil did there. "You felt exhausted." Sure, something happened. God can undo it, and give you 2 fold blessing in the opposite direction with 1 prayer. Just ask and you got it.
It could be this has nothing to do with that lady, and the devil just knows you had skeptical thoughts about her, and then threw some garbage at you to make you think something is going on.
The devil used to do this to me all the time. It's just nonsense. "The life and word of God in me is going to be sucked dry by you devil?" I'd just start laughing about it to be honest.
At prayer, Pastor told everyone to be silent for 30 minutes and meditate on the Lord, read the Word, or journal. 15 minutes had not passed before this lady had to run to the pastor's office to talk to him. I thought silence was for everyone...
What should I do? Sorry this has been so long.
What you do, is realize this lady has issues. She's wrapped up in pride. I know because I speak from experience! Dear me, I'm too prideful. Anyway, that's what's going on with her. But she's also excited. She likely does believe it is God, so excitement with a little lack of humility plus "God is talking to me!" will get you wound up like that so you're disobedient.
The problem is if a person is disobedient at all, it means they have a disobedient spirit associated with them. They're yielding at least partially to the devil.
This is why going around as a "prophet" is dangerous. A Christian can prophesy by God, but if they get a little off on behavior for whatever reason, a false spirit will come to them and try to make them prophesy. So out of one person you might have God and the devil trying to prophesy. The only way it continues to be of God is they are able to submit to God and resist the devil in their walk.
Otherwise lifestyle behavior will tilt their ability to prophesy away from God.
That said, I'd just treat her in 1 Corinthians 13 love, and don't take her prophesy seriously.
All prophesy has to first agree with your spirit in order for you to receive it. Reject all prophesy that you do not already agree with by personal revelation of God from his word and spirit. Never agree with a prophesy of facts. Agree with prophesy according to and in agreement with God's word.
