1.4% of 2015's $3.9 trillion budget is north of $50 billion ... which would take about 50 years using my earlier logic.
No... You were talking about taking away foreign aid from Middle Eastern countries who are at war with us. 1.4% of the federal budget--even accepting your numbers instead of mine--is all our foreign aid combined, almost none of which goes to Middle Eastern countries that aren't allies.

Who is the idiot? Trump or the people who buy into such ideas? [noting that no one has addressed any of the points listed below]

  • After Obama won the last election, he called it a "sham" and demanded a "march on Washington" to cancel it.
  • He said "The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing less competitive." Even if global warming isn't real, the idea that China somehow conned almost every climate scientist in the world into accepting it, without even one of them stepping forward and telling us about it, is just crazy.

  • He called America "the most highly taxed nation in the world," when people in Denmark (the happiest country in the world, followed by a bunch of other socialist countries) are taxed twice as much as Americans, because we have lower taxes than almost every other first world country. If he wants to be President, he should know something about America in comparison to other countries. Maybe he should've gotten some political experience before running for President!

  • On August 23rd, 2012 (and many other times), he blamed the increase of autism diagnoses (crucially, actual cases might not've increased!) on too many vaccines. He is utterly wrong, and delaying vaccines is a terrible idea. He seems to know the scientific consensus is completely against him, yet he still rejects it—despite not being a scientist—because he thinks all their studies are "fudged."

  • He said on July 9th of this year that he still doesn't know where Obama was born because "I don't know why he wouldn't release his records"—even though Obama released his long-form birth certificate in 2011! Trump™ must know that, since he gave himself credit for it at the time, after launching a very public "investigation" into Obama's birth. He even pubicly said he would donate $5 million to charity if Obama's birth certificate was ever released (which is strange since he doesn't accept it as evidence). Apparently his ”investigation“ never turned up the fact that multiple Hawaiin newspapers announced his birth in 1961. (Crucially, even if Obama was born in Kenya like Trump seems to think, he would still be a natural-born citizen because his mom was an American—something Trump should know by now.)

An I.Q. test score that lands in the idiot range. You haven't got that, of course.
LOL, that seems less likely than a transcript of Barack Obama's college grades.

I wouldn't vote for an idiotic candidate even if I agreed with all their major positions, since there's a very serious risk they'd do something idiotic and disastrous (probably many things).
Like make a nuclear deal with Iran?
Like do nothing while an American embassy is overrun by terrorists, and then lie about what happened?
Interestingly, when leftists disagree with someone politically they attack their intelligence. That's the action of people with no personal integrity. It's pretty disgusting, really.

Attacking their integrity however is A-OK. ^_^

Worse than accusing them of being the mythical enemy of Jesus?

The OP doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and anthropology. Mensa doesn't accept SAT scores from after 1994. However Mr Trump was a student at Wharton when it was possible to derive an accurate IQ core from known SAT scores. Given the usual requirements for admission to a top school like Wharton, I estimate that Mr. Trump has a 156 IQ at the minimum.

The standard description of this level of intelligence is “Genius – Exception intellectual ability and capable of looking beyond known facts.” However, the percentile rating is more revealing than the raw score. A 156 IQ is at the 99.9905490555 percentile. That means that Donald Trump is smarter than 99.99 percent of the people on planet earth. Not only does Trump qualify for membership in Mensa but he could join the Triple Nine Society.

Calling someone who disagrees with you stupid is the sign of a childish, immature person. We might expect his from a third grader.

I was just about to push the "likes" tab, but this ^ is the way it is. For all the sparring and exchanging of digs that goes on, liberals/socialists attack the opponent's intelligence, while conservatives attack the opponent's competence or policies. There is a difference. And this is the way it has been for some time now.

But it's a natural in this case when all eyes are on Trump, anyway. Since no one can attack his competence, there's only the attack on his intelligence left to them.

Or cast aspersions on their nationality, or peddle conspiracy about their underlying agenda, or just flat out accuse them of being Satan!

Face it, both sides of the divide resort to some pretty childish ad homs at times. Not least of all Trump, who seems to refer to most people he meets as 'Loser!'.

I know right? I hate when people don't recognize that their side does bad things but my side is perfectly rational and only does things the right way. Then they talk about some confirmation bias thing like that changes the obvious truth that we are better people.

Whom did you have in mind there--Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz? Who, exactly? Oh, that's right. The Democrats have only White, Anglo-Saxons running for president, don't they?

Yeh, me too. For a moment there, I thought you were going to comment on something I had written.

I was referring to the birther thing. Which Trump pushed for a long time, didn't he?
