Ok.... I just /have/ to rant. In fact, my two main purposes for joining this site was to 1. Learn about Christians, and 2. Rant to this person and people like him.

I don't have a religeon. I was baptized, but Christianity does nothing for me personally. In fact, its extreamists like this person who turned me away from the religeon as something thats freaking SCARY!

I mean seriously. Pokemon? Evil? RIIIIGHT! And I am the Demonic werewolf vampire cross mother of 3 squirells, 4 horses and 19 highly deformed ....things who now reside in peoples freezers chopped up. In the TV show of Pokemon, it talks about love and friendship so much that the fog from the words can suffocate me. Second of all, your paranoid. Third, the creator was Japanese. Meaning he's most likely a Buddhist. And they don't believe in God or Satan or heaven and hell. So quit acting like your from the 16th century, come OUT of the dark ages and step into the 21st century. Either that, or go drown in Holy Water. It would do the whole world a favour. Basically I'm saying that your stupid. Go find a hobby or something and actually WATCH the show and see for yourself what Pokemon is really about.

I mean come on.... The world doesn't think that Satan exsists. You just don't like it because your child is paying more attention to the game and pokemon then they do to the religeon or yourself. Personally I think that religeon is nothing but trouble. Why do you think the Iranians are declaring War on Americans and the "West"? Its because of the "Holy Crusades" of some few hundred years ago. Talk about Karma coming out of its little hole and biting everyone in the ass!

I like how the OP decided to attack the card game, and not the original Game Boy games that spawned it, like the cards are somehow worse.

Don't you know all card games come from the Tarot Deck, just like our current decks of standard playing cards? Where do you think the suits came from? Hmmm. Actually it is true that our standard card decks for games like Poker, Blackjack, etc. came from the Tarot deck, you think the OP would bring this up as it would give him claim that Pokemon is evil a little credibility, not much, but a little.

Besides, the Bible seems a little too far-fetched to me. I prefer a more scientific view. Plus, the Bible was created over 15 hundred years ago. You'd think that people would kinda modify it and the religeon a little bit to fit modern times? Barely anyone lives the way the bible says anymore. But I dont know. Its just something thats been bugging me for a while, and I just had to ask. XD

Edit: By the way. In the first pokemon movie there was a song playing called Brother My Brother, and its sung by a CHRISTIAN band called Blessid Union of Souls. Its a very good song. I love it ;3

I wouldn't say that anything is a tool of the devil because technically, the devil is a tool himself.

But if you're going to say that, then not neccesarily. Anything that pulls us away from God is a "tool of satan". But I have no idea how a childish card game and even more childish tv show could possibly pull you away from God.

How can a certain arrangement of fingers be counted as Satanic and therefore evil? Most of the time, it is used to express one's love of metal music and so forth.

Not to mention the fact that WotC do Magic: The Gathering (a game I enjoy playing often) adds nothing to help the anti-Pokemon argument in the first place.

No apologies for my bluntness because I tell it like it is. Get your facts straight and do some proper research AND THEN do an UNBIASED report. Fairness is what's needed in such arguments here, and when I read it, I saw none.
