How can the scriptures ring true when they knew even less than we do today? Is it because you want them to be true?

How do know the Koran is not true or any of the other religious books? They were all looking for a reason for why we all exist and made up lots of stories to try and explain everything, all of which use miracles and Magic to try and explain what they didn't understand, making something up is never going to be the answer no matter how much you want it all to be true.

The miracles noted in scripture do not really help the story
and mostly hinder it. So I don't know which you feel I need.

And you may present any story in the Koran for our analysis
that you'd like us to believe.

Yes, you can - when there's a lot of them together. Individually, no, but when there's a great many of them bunched together, they're quite visible. When you look at something, you are, in fact, looking at a bunch of molecules. You can't just separate something from the things its made of and call them two different things. It's like saying that looking at a forest and looking at trees are two different things. If you're looking at a forest, you're looking at trees, because trees make up a forest. You might not be able to look at any individual tree - if you're high enough up, it might just look like a green patch. But you're looking at trees, all the same.

I've said that the tree is visible to the naked eye and that the molecules
and everything else that makes up the tree that we can't see is not.

No one, including the bible, is saying the earth is fixed or that those
things rotate around it. That word means firmly established. You are
just being obtuse.

So, "immovable" allows for the Earth to move around the Sun, its orbit perturbed by the other planets, the Moon, as well as have the sun to move within the galaxy, the galaxy to move within the cosmos.

You re-translate the bible as you see fit.

If your god has "firmly established" the position/path/orbit of the Earth, does this allow for the likes of humans to alter this path?

Why do you accept what the bible says as evidence for the truth of the bible? That is circular reasoning. After all, you should always accept my posts as perfectly inerrant. See, it says so right here in one of my posts.

Religions are ALL in the mind that's why people can change their minds about their religion and ever drop them.

So is pain, colors, sounds, feeling, taste, odors,happiness and the world we know. The more we learn the harder it becomes to defend "realism".

Your Bible quote is about the the very existence of the universe implying the existence of someone that made it. It says nothing about the how that someone made it.

I disagree as it does noted it created by the Word of God. It held together by the power of his word. "Word" is mental and not physical. Scientist are trying to explain the origins of the universe and life through total physical means instead the product of the mind. That is which seen is created by which isn't seen.
