It doesn't matter WHAT's on your finger (if anything at all), it's what you've agreed to in your heart and mind - objects are just that, objects, and mean nothing unless you've got the fortitude and soul behind it. I love them, but get worried if THAT's all that's keeping someone from being unfaithful or having sex - cos it simply won't work.

Yeah, my promise ring was actually my boyfriend's purity ring. He wore it before he gave it to me to remind himself to stay pure for his future wife. I'm lucky that it fits my finger pretty well!
