  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i truly love their music. all of their albums are very artistic and different. i do agree on "Songs to Burn your Bridges by" some are repetetive, but like you said, i agree with, good music. plus, i love the way that Andrew Schwab (the lead singer) writes. i haven't read his books he has published, but his writing in the songs, i think is phenomenal.

Drawing Black Lines, i think is one of the best Christian Hard Rock albums produced. that was the first album i heard of theirs and then i grabbed their self-titled, and i think that is good too. then i got Truless Heros, which i think is really good, and then now, Song to Burn Your Bridges By, which i think is awesome, but Drawing Black Lines is a phenomenal album.

Very good band, I was an avid fan until they released Truthless Heros. It's alright, but definitely downhill from Drawing Black Lines. Then they came out with this communist garbage linked from truthlessheros.com. I still like them musically, but they will never again be my favorite band. Drawing Black Lines is still one of my favorite releases of all time, but I'm not nearly as excited about them anymore.
