  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need prayer, and advice on what to do... it may sound silly and all but it has been an ongoing issue with me and the churchi i am going to.

we are just now installing a computer network to get everything linked together and working together.. now this is my expertise, but because of my age.. im 21, and lack of experience on a resume, they opted to go with someone who just joined the church.. i had been faithfully attending for the past 6.5 years now.. i became a christian in 1997.

before then, when i was 18, i wanted to help in the youth group after high school.. they gave me the reason i was too young to be a youth leader.. but they put in a 16 year old where i wanted to be.

to me that is completely wrong.. there is a different pastor now, but the rest of the people are the same.

my previous pastor gave explicit instructions that i was a computer guy that i know exactly what i am doing, and on top of that, i know the building.


the other thing that is gettin me upset with this.. is i work for a local computer store, and they went to an online company to get their parts..

i might be wrong with being upset i might not be.. prayer and advice will help in this situation,.

while thinking about it... God is leading me to be in music.. the mainstream music side of things.. to reach those on that side of life. and to live life to its fullest.

Most importantly to Love God, with all my heart, all my might, and all my soul, and to love my neighbor as myself. God is working a miracle through me to do this. just thought id update everyone
