I notice that some post are cut off while others get to stay.
I hope this forum is not going to be another clique with certain ones controlling what others are allowed to say or think.
I hope mods will be fair and unbiased in their judgement of who gets freedom of speech and who doesn't. I have seen forums go down because of this, hope this isn't one.

Hmmm.... I can't actually see more than the odd post here or there, including my own posts. I can't see the new replies either, even though I get a notification that there has been another reply.

Hopefully that gets sorted out soon, unless it's just me, for some reason.

It just happened to me. I posted again and it was there. Thought it was my phone but I think it's a glitch. I imagine it will be corrected soon.

If posts are removed, the thread will contain a mod hat with the reason(s) cited.

Posts are usually removed because someone flamed another member, or because a rule was seriously broken (arguining against the Holy Trinity in a forum that doesn't allow it). Nearly any topic can be discussed, within the proper forum, including non-Trinitarianism. If you have questions about what can be discussed in any particular area, they are usually answered by reading the Statement of Purpose stickied at the top of each forum. Flaming is never allowed, and can be actioned if it comes to the attention of mods. If you still have questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you.

Thank you for reply. I have had a couple of post removed since I joined and thought it unfair. So thought I'd bring it to the attention to the staff here. Sending PMs to all staff members would be very hard to do. Being in the open also works best,IMO.

Actually, it is against the rules to discuss staff actions in threads.

Actions taken are not done in secret. There are guidelines that must be followed, and in some cases voting by staff. If you have questions, it might be better to pm a single staff member, or post your concerns in the Members Support Center ( Support Center | Christian Forums ). It would not be appropriate to air grievances publicly. But I can assure you it would not be anything personal. In addition to the reasons I mentioned above, sometimes off-topic posts are removed. You really should be seeing a mod hat explaining the action in that case though.

Be sure that you understand the Rules of CF ( Terms of Service and Christian Forum Rules | Christian Forums ), and what constitutes flaming, as well as the Code of Conduct ( Members' Codes of Conduct | Christian Forums ). If you have questions about the rules or anything else in those links, feel free to ask.

Ok I'll use the Support Center, didn't know there was one. I did read the rules though, but memory isn't what it use to be. Wasn't trying to go against rules. I apologize for that, won't do it again. Thank You.

Anastasia also I'm still seeking as much as I can know about the Bible. Haven't studied Orthodox Christianity yet. I there a thread on that? I really like ancient history especially when it involves the Bible. Thanks.

Sure. :) Not just a thread, but we have a subforum. Feel free to visit The Ancient Way - Eastern Orthodox

You can browse threads, ask any questions you like. Most congregational forums don't allow debate against the members there, but we have a subforum that allows that too (St. Justin Martyr's) if you prefer that style. But you're free to ask any questions at all or fellowship in the main forum area. :)

History and the writings of the early Church fathers is really very interesting. It's good to understand the context of how the Scriptures came to be, in some cases before they were written (and as they were being discerned from spurious writings as well).
