  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

yahoo only provides you with a customer service feedback form which is relatively hard to get to. You have to go to help, type in your question, find a related problem, click the problem, and at the bottem of the page or something say that the page didn't help you and you'll get redirected to the feedback form.

thanks Morrog....i did that, but you have to sign in before you can access the feedback form....and it won't let me sign in - keeps saying that the page is currently unavailable blah blah blah  i'm really getting annoyed now.....it's been 36 hours, maybe even more than that.

and to top it all - i can access my yahoo mail account from my mobile phone (on wap)...so i just don't understand what has gone wrong.

has anyone else got a yahoo account here? can you access your email?

It really does sound like a security issue here as Heathen Dawn stated earlier. You may want to temporarily disable the firewall before your browser is open and try again. Have you installed any new software since the last time you where able to access your yahoo account? Have you installed the MSN or Google toolbar which has AD blockers can definately block the page. Definately clear out your temporary internet files or you will keep getting the same message each time you login. Also you may want to check your security settings in your browser and make sure the site is not being blocked out.

In Internet Explorer 6.1 you can allow a website to always use cookies. Go to

-Tools -Internet Options -click on the privacy tab -and then click on sites
here you will just type in the url http://yahoo.com

If worse comes to worse you may want to try a different browser to see if it is browser specific.
