I used to be sooo lonely. My best friend is at a different college, far away. Most of my friends at this college are staff. I usually sit alone at lunch time. I used to go to a college group at my church but gas went up and my transportation is very limited. Some friends transported me, until they went to a new church.
I began using fantasies as my comfort. In them I would always meet the perfect guy and well... I prayed often, knowing that I should think better thoughts.
But then I found this forum. I think about all the wonderful people I've met and how clean and positive it is. I think about this every night and feel much better.
I may sit alone at my table at lunch, but I have hundreds of friends ready to welcome me back to christianforums.com

It's a great forum!I haven't began to attend a Church yet (but I will this Sunday) so it's great to talk to fellow believers, it's very uplifting.

Good luck with your studies and I will pray that God will bless you with many special friends in real life as well as that special one that Almighty has in store for you beloved!

have you made any newwonderful friends, at your college, yet?
And yes, I agree - CF has alot of wonderful people too, like *you* for instance

And using your Happyimagination is actually a really useful skill, possibly helping you in potentially more Blessed ways, than you might (otherwise) Imagine...

I've met Sonya. She works at the computer lab.
I've also met Terry. She sits next to me in Geography.

God bless you, mindalan! I'm so happy to have CF'ers in my life as well. They're so supportive and interesting too. This site lifts me up!

That said, I'm glad you're making real-time friends as well. We need face to face contact as well as friends over the Internet. Fortunately, I really believe that He will provide. May He help you make good friends at school this semester.
