Hello! Yes that's true. Hence a royal family. If they were like the rest of us they wouldn't be royal. Kind RegardsHis status protects him. As is often the way with this kind of thing.
I suspect these are really just normal people who are riding out a situation of unearned privilege and station.Hello! Yes that's true. Hence a royal family. If they were like the rest of us they wouldn't be royal. Kind Regards
Hello! Yes I can agree with that. But as long as they have that privilege and station they're entitled to use it. Kind Regards.I suspect these are really just normal people who are riding out a situation of unearned privilege and station.
Yes, they are literally en titled to that. But my point was: they are in fact like us.Hello! Yes I can agree with that. But as long as they have that privilege and station they're entitled to use it. Kind Regards.
They’re just like the rest of us. They just pretend otherwise and have enough influence to get others to go along with the charade.Hello! Yes that's true. Hence a royal family. If they were like the rest of us they wouldn't be royal. Kind Regards
Exactly, they are allegations.Allegedly Andrew Windsor, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Peter Mandelson, Michael Jackson to name a few.
The hanging around should be seen as dubious in the court of public opinion, but it's not yet found to be criminal in an actual court. And these are allegations, not proven facts.
God Bless
They are just normal people but they have been born into positions of duty and responsibility, whether they like it or not.I suspect these are really just normal people who are riding out a situation of unearned privilege and station.
They’re free to abdicate at any time. They are just normal people but they have been born into positions of duty and responsibility, whether they like it or not.
Which they spent millions and stripped Andy of his fancy lad privileges to try to make go away.Exactly, they are allegations.
And we never bow to them as Americans!
True, as Harry has, but I think that most of them have too high a sense of duty to do so. Certainly the late queen had. I think the reason she carried on to the end is because she kept the vows she'd taken before God. She said that she would retire if the country wanted a Republic. I actually like having a monarchy as I think it's good to have a figurehead outside the political arena. I appreciate that not everyone feels that way though. They’re free to abdicate at any time.

The titles come with land, houses and income don't they?...sooooo not any sort of real punishment
Each place has its own rules (which I'm not interested enough to learn).Thank you!
As an American, I’m not sure how monarchies or royal titles work
I have no idea what that means and Google was no help. Could you please explain?Thank you for this - his name just became "Entnonentno" in this house.
I can imagine both the constraints and privileges of a "royal" childhood really messing with your head. They are just normal people but they have been born into positions of duty and responsibility, whether they like it or not.
I made it up from Bradskii 's post #9 - "entitled non entity loses some titles. Oh no!" I am sorry you ended up trying to Google it, it is just an abbreviation of "entitled non entity oh no", and in future will be used by me as a humorous, and harmless disrepectful way to refer to A.Windsor.I have no idea what that means and Google was no help. Could you please explain?
Oh yes, I think it must have been a tremendous strain. Always having to be polite no matter how tired you are, never being free to go where you want, endless engagements, which you need to be informed about. and never being able to express your personal views on political matters. They lack the freedom most of us take for granted.Duty? lol
Carried on to the end? Was the life of privilege, pampering and everyone groveling before her a burden?
Raised by a Nanny who rewarded her for waiting to urinate, because in the middle of an official engagement they cannot just say "Hold on, I need a wee."Oh yes, I think it must have been a tremendous strain. It is the only thing they can do to begin the redeeming of their characters. The only (possible) good royal is an ex-royal.They’re free to abdicate at any time.
That's not 100% clear year yet whether it's a true "loss" in a sense we'd think of it.The titles come with land, houses and income don't they?
