Do you think that pride is a subject that should be address in more depth at your churches?

I have come in contact with MANY Christians who are so puffed up with themselves that there is no room left for God. :( Do you see this as a prevelant sickness amongst the people that you come in contact with?

We bring it up at our church. Not every sunday but it does find it's way into sermons. I think it's a topic that should be covered but I don't see to many pride issues within my church. Now I have been to many churches and I do run into churches that could use some sermons on the topic. It's sad to see someones pride choke off their relationship with God.

Just saw your post Martin. One thing we all should remember and work on is humbling ourselves to God and his will. We do talk about this a lot in church. More we resist God's will and wanting to do our own the more harm we cause ourselves. With my first post I was really posting more about pride to other church members.
