Based on what we’re actually looking to do with the JFK investigation, I’m looking to actually bring in some of the attending physicians at the initial assassination. Then also people that had been on the various commissions looking into it, like the Warren Commission looking into the initial assassination.

Unfortunately for Luna, they are unavailable. [The doctors and Warren Commission members all being dead. Quite the coincidence, no?]

The lack of transparency from the first assassination attempt on Donald Trump has been going on for many, many months. I blame those who were in charge of the Biden administration and the FBI and the Secret Service last summer for that.

2025-1963= 62 years. And yet the are still sealed. How come?

The declassification schedule does not mean that documents magically appear in the libraries. There are thousands of documents created every day, millions of documents created every year. There is not a corresponding army of librarians combing those documents every day to find the ones that celebrated their 50th anniversary that very day to publish them somewhere.

Rather, the declassification schedule means that if a FOIA request is made for a document, that request will meander its way to whatever agency has custody of the document. Then someone will check to see if, first, it might be declassified according to the schedule and then, second, to make sure none of the reasons specified in the law to maintain the classification are in effect. But make no mistake, when the request does get to whoever has custody of the document, there is a hard Congress-level clock ticking for that agency to respond very quickly. I've been "that guy" before when I was at SAC and had a 3-star general checking my progress daily.

I expect that documents regarding those events have been requested many times. There may be some other issue that has kept them classified, like the identities of still-living persons investigated but not suspected that for some reason could not be revealed.

I don't think the documents will reveal any particular nefarious government involvement beyond keeping them classified in the first place. There's not going to be an admission of guilt...anything like that would never have been written down, and if it had, it would have been leaked by now.
