CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I apologize. I remember hearing 50 years after JFK's death that the investigatory material would be declassified. I just assumed it didn't say anything more than we had already been told in the Warren Commission Report.
According to this, information on the JFK shooting should have been automatically declassified. It didn't concern human information sources or WMD's. I am assuming all of the human intelligence sources in the JFK investigation are probably deceased.
I do know that Sirhan Sirhan is alive, so I'm not so sure about RFK.

Documents classified for longer than 50 years must concern human intelligence sources or weapons of mass destruction, or get special permission.[89] All documents older than 75 years must have special permission.[90]

I remember all those Republicans during the election calling for declassification of these things! I found it strange that they didn't focus on the affordability crisis but what do I know about the proclivities and interests of the American population.
And now they got it.
So long as they don't have to expect the things they wanted from a Trump presidency, I'd bet they will end up calling this the best presidency in the whole world!

It is so strange that a man who would go to unbelievable lengths not to comply with customary financial disclosure, and who, even after being shot, refused to go to a hospital, instead seeing a Texas Congressma, formerly a Walter Reed doctor with alcohol problems, would Cate so much about transparency for everyone else's records.
Those who don't support him are convinced of the worst...these facts might be a tiny smidgen better than they believe.
