Pregnancy Weight

So I went to the doctor today. When I went a couple of weeks ago @ 32 weeks, I had only gained 10 lbs the entire pregnancy. Since then, DH had surgery and I was really sick. When I went today, I had lost 4.5 lbs.. That doesn't even account for the weight I have gained since I started being able to eat again this weekend. So that puts my grand total gain @ 5.5 lbs. That just doesnt seem like it is a good thing to me. Doctor says baby is growing like CRAZY and he is just fine, but she was somewhat concerned about me. I told her even the thought of eating is miserable anymore due to all the throwing up and indigestion and heartburn and reflux that I have been getting lately. I try to eat at least once a day...sometimes I get twice in there...but IDK what to do! She says we will worry about it next appointment if I don't gain or if I lose again...but I am worried NOW!

I will keep you in my prayers. I think it is a good sign that your dr isn't worried about the baby...hopefully you will start to feel better soon, and start gaining...
i'm at 22 weeks and I've already gained about 15lbs...I'd give you some of mine if I could

Well, I was okay with only having gained ten lbs. the whole pregnancy but I am only concerned because I lost 1/2 of that...and I am basically 35 weeks. It doesn't make me feel any better that I KNOW I am gaining belly and LOTS of it! My stomach is so stinking HUGE and miserable!!!! lol

but look at it this way... not much longer and most of that weight will not be there... when the baby gets here

I have so far lost 12lbs and my doctor complemented me on it, I thought that was weird. LOL as long as the doctor says baby is fine I wouldn't worry to much about it.

LOL well mine has complimented me so far on not having gained but ten lbs altogether, she just kinda raised an eyebrow this time. I didn't start out super small and I know Justin is getting his...I guess its alright, just something else for me to worry about @ this point LOL

Hehe I started this pregnancy at 272lbs and am now down to 260 maybe less. I find out on the 14th.

I definitely wouldn't worry. I haven't gained much weight, either (less than 10 lbs) but my baby is the right size and just fine so I'm not worried about it.

I am not so much concerned with not having gained much...but with having lost so much so far along....but like I said, hubby had surgery and then I got sick.....so it was justified!

I always gain like 40 pounds....no matter what I do or do not eat....

If your doctor isn't worried and baby is growing fine and doing well---I really wouldn't sweat it....
