  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yes I do seek God, and we know Paul did, but only after God gave him the gift of grace through faith.

The Bible talks about how man is not good in many places, do you think all of them are exagerated for effect?

(John 6:44-45) "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. {45} It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me."

If there is no free will, define sin. I define sin as the choice to be unloving. How do you define sin? Can a robot sin? Did God create some humans with no ability to love? Did He therefore create them just to have someone to torture for all time? If so God is not love and He is not lovable. There is no one who is forced to be with God or remain with Him. All who come to Him do so voluntarily. We are not robots. If we were we would be unable to love.

What is unconditional love? When you really love someone, do you love someone only because he is of good quality. I guess it is true for most ppl around. But God's love in unconditional. He loves his CHILDREN no matter how bad they are. Even if his children forsakes Him, He will never forsake them. Isn't it clear in the bible that we are BY NATURE sinners? If we are BY NATURE sinners can we choose not to sin? Sin happens when we do not follow God's way. When we choose to be disobedient to God. Because we do all that, we go into the path of destruction because God knows us the best and thus knows which path we should take. It is only thorugh knowing God that we can overcome sin. We sinned because we are not willing to walk with God. Therefore sin is doing things that God does not want us to do.

God "forces" us to come to Him because he knows our heart. He knows what he can do to bring us to him. He knows what path will lead to him. He uses the correct ppl to bring us to Him. Just because we accepted the Lord Jesus does not mean that we will not forsake Him in the future. We may accept Him but we may not choose to Know him even more and may continue on sinning because we will never succeed in overcoming Sin without Him. But God being a loving Father will use whatever means like Suffering to bring us closer to him. In the end, His children will eventualy accept Him
