  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I watched the Preakness, as well as the Derby. Rock Hard Ten is tempermental from the way it looked. No way would've I got on that horse after his behavior at the starting gate. It looked like he ran the race with his ears pinned.

Smarty Jones is the best, imo. The way he took the Preakness was incredible. I think he has a real shot at the Triple Crown.

That's awesome that you have seen three. I would love for there to be one this year. can't wait until the Belmont. I have seen replays of Secretariat's Belmont and it gives me goosebumps!! Amazing! He was really something.

I still remember sitting there in front of the TV with my jaw just about on the floor watching Secretariat win the Belmont (yes, I'm a Secretariat junkie lol). Then to luck out and have another Triple Crown in the year I graduated High School (Seattle Slew, 1977) and again the following year (Affirmed). My mother (she remembers seeing Citation win his Triple) got me hooked as a kid, I remember watching the first undefeated horse when the Derby and Prekness...Majestic Prince, 1969 (he was just too pretty to be a race horse).

I was a little horse crazy kid when I remember watching Secretariat. I remember what an inspiration he was to our country in a time when we really needed a hero. And he became that on that day at Belmont.

I wonder if Smarty Jones is the new hero that we need now?
