They were arrested for not obeying a lawful order. Multiple times- recidivism in action.

No you can't say that even though you want to.
The fact is that either praying or standing, or both has been deemed to constitute a breach on four counts of the PSPO
Whilst the police haven't indicated that praying or standing are the acts that cause the offense the specific wording of the PSPO does.

Can you not read and accept the wording in the PSPO quoted and the link provided to the local council website is correct?

The FACT is that the PSPO specifically prohibits prayer and so you're wrong but can't admit it!

You see how utterly desperate you are becoming. It's really sad that you keep digging, can't face your errors and continue to obfuscate with false information!!!

Yes the PSPO specifically provides that a person "is required to leave the area if asked to do so" The problem is this is completely irrelevant in this case and quoting shows either that you don't know the facts else don't care about truth. There is absolutely no evidence that she failed to comply with a request by anyone to leave the area. The video link provided showed the interaction with the police and they never asked her to leave the area. They did ask her to voluntarily go with them to the police station and she replied, "If it's my choice then no"

I am reading prayer as an act of protest is not allowed. So not prayer on it’s own.
If I had to guess a motive here, this woman engaged in prayerful protest knowing she’d be arrested and then could claim victim status for being arrested for praying when in fact she’s been arrested for protesting.

First of all, you're right. The wording of the PSPO seems clear that prayer is ONLY prohibited if it's either a part of protest else indication of approval or disapproval of abortion. The fact she was arrested and charged suggests the police believe silent prayer breaches the PSPO in some way.

Secondly, if her actions are legal then her reasons for legal action are irrelevant.

Thirdly, if her intention was to protest, she's must be stupid because she did so in a way that's impossible to know that's what she was doing (what's the point in protesting if nobody knows you're actually protesting?) and when the clinic was shut and so there was nobody to protest to!

Fourthly, she could not know how the police would react. There is a simple provision within the PSPO that allows the police (and others) to simple ask the person to leave the area and had they done so, she would have had to move or be in a clear breach.. and no grounds for dispute or claim for discrimination. Frankly the police were stupid not to ask her to leave.

I tried to search for other news reports of this incident and only found biased results. The fact that it is only being reported by conservative and anti abortion sites leaves me to wonder what the whole story is and what might be missing from from these reports.

I sympathise with the difficulty in getting unbiased news coverage. It's a probably for all those who are keen to get at the truth.

You are right, though, most of the outlets reporting this do have a conservative bias but in itself is telling. Why aren't the liberal, pro-abortion outlets picking it up and presenting a different perspective? Perhaps because they know in the end it's not going to look good!
