Prayers Would Be Great

My wife and I adopted a new cat, Susan, on Friday. She got loose two days ago, was briefly lost, and then taken into an animal hospital by a good samaritan. They believed she was hit by a car, and as of yesterday things weren't looking that good (possible permanent damage to the spine), but there have been some good signs after talking to the vet today.

Today she was attentive and enjoying the attention we gave her. We learned that there is feeling in the tail and the back legs, which is important. The big issue is whether she will have control over bladder/bowel, and we were ecstatic to learn that she used the litter box to go pee last night. Hopefully she progresses well!

Please pray for her. She is already a member of the family, and we are praying that she can have a full recovery. We want to enjoy this gift from God for many years to come. Thank you so much!

Thanks so much for your prayers! She is going to the bathroom fairly regularly, and yesterday we got to take her home! It will take time to heal, and we still have to have part of the tail removed, but she should be just fine. All the prayers are much appreciated. Praise God
