prayers to the saints (Eastern Orthodox and EO-friendly only)

I thought, if no one objects, we could have a thread for prayers to the saints. Perhaps note why you think the world (or some part of it) could use the prayers of certain saints. Others can pray to the same saints if they wish upon seeing your post.

For example:

St. Philip of Moscow (spoke truth to a secular power)
St. Philip, pray for us!

St. Sophrony of Essex (prayed deeply for the world at a time of terrible trouble)
St. Sophrony, pray for us!

Our most holy Lady Theotokos, save us!
