Thank you. The therapist gave me a gentle lecture this morning about being very careful with lifting things and doing work over my head.

The tingling numbness in my arm and hand has not really died down that much, but I am definitely not getting any worse. I am seriously hoping the PT is able to keep the doc from having to do further testing.

The therapist warned me today that I am really close to needing surgery on my neck to fix the problem. Ugh. She says as bad as it is she is really surprised I am not having alot worse symptoms than I am.

UPDATE

I went back to the neurosurgeon today and he is going to do a nerve conduction study on both of my arms and a myleogram on my neck to see what the source of the problem is. It is very likely that I will need a bit more invasive of a carpal tunnel surgery on my hands as well as surgery on my neck to alleviate the problems with the bulging disks.

I am not sure which one is going to be more fun: the myleogram or the nerve conduction studies. I personally refer to the nerve conduction studies as being "electronic human pin cushion tests." ZAP! OUCH! Oh, did that hurt you? DUH!

The funny thing about all of this is my therapist saw my icons the other day and said to me "why are you not doing this full time to make a living off this?"

Ok, so this is strange. The doc said Tuesday there is definitely arthritis in my neck but that the bulging disk which has resulted is not putting enough pressure on the spinal cord to threaten my well being. There is enough room arround the spinal cord so there is not any threat of nerve damage! Thus I DON"T NEED SURGERY!!!
