prayers needed

Hello everyone:
I'm new here and am just learning my way around. I could really use your prayers. I am the chairman of a rather small AOG church. Our original pastor was ill for quite sometime and he went home to be with the Lord in september. Interviewing for pastors has been quite difficult because most pastors would prefer larger churches. The Lord brought forth a pastor who understands our situation and has felt a leading to our area. This sunday, after service we will have our business meeting to vote on this pastor. We encouraged everyone to fast and pray. I'm asking for everyone to please pray that it will be a smooth decisive vote led by the Lord. Thank you all.

Dan,

I pray that if this pastor is right for your church that the Lord lets him know without it w/o a doubt and vice versa for your congregation. I pray just the opposite if he's not the right person for the position. (i.e. That it's made clear that this is not a good match). God knows who's right. It's a matter of us being able to know what He wants.

I think the fasting and prayer is awesome.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. We had our business meeting following our church service this morning, a brief Q & A time, then we voted and everyone voted unanimously for this Pastor. Thank you Jesus. and I had such a peace about it this morning. My wife said I looked like my face was beaming . Again thank you all for your prayers and your support.

Well, ok, the sunglasses were probably because it was 65 degrees and sunny yesterday, today on the other hand it's 40 degrees with blustery winds and my kids thought they were going out with T shirts this morning, NOT! Well as the old saying goes, it's northeastern Ohio, if you don't like the weather, stick around for 15 minutes it'll change. Thank you again for the prayers and support.
