Prayers needed...again

I am going for a PET scan, a CT, & an MRI of my head on Thursday. I have been having some headaches & a little dizziness, lately...and It took me 16 weeks to do 8 weeks worth of chemo. My onc pulled me off the chemo because my bone marrow is sluggish, so I didn't get the full 16 week treatment.

I am a little nervous about this, but I am hoping the headaches are the stress of moving.

Please pray for me.

Well, the PET & CT are officially back. I have the nodes under my left underarm growing since April...also there is 2 nodes in my neck, one on both side, that now appear metastatic. I go see my doc on Wed, and discuss what we are going to do next. My MRI of my brain either has not gotten there, yet, OR he just don't want to tell me over the phone.

If you could add me to your rosary prayers forthe next couple of days, I would sure appreciate it.Thank you!

Good news: I still have a brain (I had to wonder for a second when the doc said there was nothing there. .)

Bad news: Back on chemo. Don't know how long this time-probably depends on bone marow, and the nodes shrinking & such. Chemo 3 weeks on & 1 week off. Its a different chemo drug than the last time, so just maybe my body will react ok with it. I may lose my hair, but hopefully it will just get a little thinner, & I won't lose it.

Good news: I told him that it would probably cure me if he wrote an rx for me to go to Rome...so he did! We wrote the rx for a round trip first class ticker, 5 star hotel, admittance to the Vatican Archives, & the famous Vatican Vault. (Now I will know all the secrets!) I will also get to stay for 30 days! I get to to to Tuscany & Florence, too. He said that if I bring him 2 Diet mountain Dews next week, he will write another one for all the European places I want to go. We decided to wait on the trip to Israel, though.

Now, to see what my insurance says.....

Thank you Sandy. Most of the time I deal fairly well with all of this, with the help of Our Lady. My biggest need is prayers...I am having my 15th grandchild in September, and I so want to watch them all grow up! I am learning 'not my will but Thine', though.
