Continuing to pray for my friend who recently lost her husband. Had a dream about her last night in which I gave her comfort. Am doing that as best I can. Lord, help her and comfort her as she goes through this difficult time and process of mourning. "Blessed are those who mourn; for they shall be comforted."

Dear father, we pray that all the people with lost loved ones in the Philippines. Lord minister to them and be with them. Comfort every single family there, Lord. Tell them that you love them and want them to be saved because some of the religions going on over there only lie to them every day. Please pray for my friend, Sharon, who lost her husband last month. At first she did really well (maybe in denial) but now it is hitting her as she goes about her life without him. Please pray she can mourn and be strengthened as she faces what all this grave loss means. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

It has been awhile that I have visited this forum. The first anniversary of my mom's death is coming up - December 16, 2013 and in my mind, I am going through each day and recall, how her health was detoriating each day, how I did not want to give up my hope that, despite her heart problems, she would survive the colon tumor surgery. In the end, I lost her due to a heart attack she suffered 12 hours after the surgery.....It has been a rough year without her at my side.........it is rough now......I have an exam tomorrow - that my employer requests me to pass. I was supposed to pass it last year, but had to withdraw based on the fact that I took care of my mom, when she most needed me. Please, pray for me that I pass this exam tomorrow - it is my gift to my mom - one year later !! Thank you and God bless.
