CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for lisa, tony, and melissa... they lost both their mom and dad to two horrible situations in the past.
Also pray for Anthony, a younger friend of mine from my dad's old friend who died 5 years ago.. the young man needs guidance. He has been getting with the wrong crowd and has been smoking weed and starting to expiriment with pills. He has alot of money coming to him when he turns 18 and i'm worried that if he stays on this path that it could bury him very soon.

My son went home 10 years ago this month. I know it has been awhile but my family really has gone through alot regarding his passing. It was a military death with a lot of details to it.. Thank you for your prayers for our hearts. My other sons birthday is today and he really is going through a lot of emotional issues due to the grief of our loss..

Please pray for my friend, whose father died. He had a tedious relationship with him, but they were a lot alike and it will be hard for him.
Please pray for a family from my Dad's church, the father died after a long battle with ALS. He left behind a widow and two special needs kids.

Amazing Grace, How Sweet You Are Lord Jesus!
Lord, Father, God. I thank you that you are the Comforter. I thank you that You have all answers and all things in your hands. in In Job 42:10 you say that after Job prayed for his friends, You made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. I pray that you will help my new friends here with the hurt for losing loved ones. I pray that they will find peace in you and not in drink or in the world. I pray that the peace that passes all understanding will fill their hearts and souls. I pray for peace for them above all. I ask that You will give them comfort in their times of trial and pain, that you will be their Alpha and Omega. I pray that as they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they will fear no evil, for You are with us, and you prepare a table for us in the presence of our enemies. I pray that they will seek You, and they will find in You everything they need. I pray, in their hours of loneliness and sorrow and sadness and great pain over their losses that You will make yourself known to them, and You will be with them as you are with me.
I pray for Nathan as he grieves his brother's death. I ask that You will show yourself as His Comforter, His Rock, and His Blessed Redeemer. I pray that you will heal Nathan, take away his bitterness toward You, his lack of faith in Your faithfulness. I pray that Nathan will find his peace in You, Lord, and he will find peace that his brother is in heaven, safe, no more pain, the evil things are passed away, all things have become new, and Rick is there waiting for us. Let Nathan want to stay here, not wish for death, and want to complete Your Will for his life so he can gloriously enter the Kingdom of Heaven and bless and praise You as You intend for him. Let Nathan enter the kingdom of heaven pleased about his accomplishments in Your name. Take away the heart of stone that the evil one is trying to put upon him, and let him know that he will, once again, see his brother. Let him find peace and thankfulness that his brother is in heaven and not in hell. Please Lord, do not let the evil one turn Nathan bitter and sour over his brother's death. Let the evil one's plans for Nathan come to nothing. As sand falls between the cracks of the fingers, let the evil plans for Nathan fall helplessly and uncontrollably from the evil one's hands. I am praying for you all. I could also use prayers. I have lost many close to me within a short amount of time. They have either left me or died. God bless you for prayers.

I want pray here for my friend who has also done suicide due to some problems in her house,the girl name was vanita, she left her parents & one brother, they are trying to pass their life only now as they loxt their dear daughter , family member, I really pray for her family members that may God Jesus provide them power to fear this great loss, & heal them.
