He is due to get a scope done on September 7 to see why he has been experiencing pain when eating and losing too much weight. My mom just called and said they discovered a lump on the left side of his neck.

Just a reminder that he goes in tomorrow Tuesday in the hospital at 10:30 am for the exploratory scope procedure.

It’s been a rough day. My stepdad has advanced Esophageal cancer. A lot of crying and phone calls. He has a pet scan on Friday to see where it has spread. Continued prayers appreciated. We are all going to need them.

Thank you Anhelyna. I’m just beside myself with worry. I can’t help it. One wrong move and I’m crying. My mom is frail, etc. my mind is flooded with what’s going to happen and what we are going to do when the time comes.
