Prayers for Iran

Iran needs our prayers and our government to step up and support these people seeking FREEDOM. The White House has been very quite. They are still stoning women over there and the moral police are always on the job.

The White House is right in standing back. Taking sides will get the reform movement labeled as foreign interference. The best thing our government can do right now is voice support for democratic freedoms without picking sides and then get out of the way.

The thing about the election is, whatever the result little is going to actually change because the President there is more like a ceremonial figure. The Islamic theocrats, Ayatollahs or Mullahs or whatever, officially hold the real power.

Supreme Leader Khamenei may not survive this crisis with his power intact. Reportedly, one of his rivals is working on getting the votes to depose him. Even if he weathers the storm, he his actions will be circumscribed by the prospect of this repeating.

Things are getting really bad in Iran, many people killed.
