Prayers for Doubt

Some days, I wake up overcome by feelings of doubt and arrogance. I know I’m struggling to love God as I should, but these feelings make that journey seem impossible. Please pray that He will give me a heart to love Him and trust Him more, to remember who He is, and to focus on Him instead of my own erratic feelings.

Praying for you.

That's a good foundation, you know. Being aware of our weaknesses and being truthful about it. But whatever mustard seed you have, no matter how small and frail it might seem to you now, God knows how to water and nurture it. Often it's part of the journey, having to go through our doubt and weaknesses, to see ourselves for what we are. A certain kind of denial of self will follow in time.

If there is a crisis of faith, don't be too alarmed. Sometimes our faith is just being molded, and the need for our dependence to God is strengthened.

This passage has become one of my favorites. It’s a prayer I pray every day.

Heavenly Father, please work out all the areas in this one's heart so they may come to trust in Your Word and in Your works so they may believe, In Jesus Name, Amen.
