Prayers for a new job

I applied for a job tonight through one of my old employers. I was very happy when I worked with them and ended up working for them for 3.5 years before they had to lay me off. I've been very miserable at my current job and am ready for a change. If I got the job through my old employer, I have no doubts about being so much happier and better off.

Dear Lord, I pray that my old employer considers hiring me for the position they are needing to fill. I need a change and want a better job for the time-being until I am able to go back to school for what I want to do for my career. Please Lord God, let this job opportunity work out.
