Prayers for a family required

Today I was doing my home to home Legion Of Mary work in a pretty deprived area we met 3 young children in a front garden who we had heard discussing "shagging" "prostitutes" "getting hiv" and basically glorifying the idea of being old enough to sleep around, they were speaking all this really loudly and all the neighbours could clearly hear them.

It was shocking that they were probably about 5, 8 and 9 years old yet their vocaulary was so very disgrusting.

We gave the 3 children miraculous medals, one of them was quite excited about this, but I don't know whether they threw them away.

Also pray for their mother who we met briefly but did not want to speak to us, she looked very tired and depressed.

I imagine these kids are just going to end up in a terrible life situation when they are older, it is so sad.

So please pray for them.

Oh, my goodness! I'm praying. The truth is Mark, that that are all too many children who grow up in underprivileged environment's. (and underpriviledged does not always equate to financial independence of the state)

I remember an early experience of giving an injection to a little girl of just 4, who swore at me in a way that most adults would be ashamed of.

This is so sad. I will truly keep these children and their families in my prayers. What a sad world that we live in when little children are so aware of those elements in this world.
