​ ​ Any mention of Russia immediately drums up thoughts of the Russia-Ukraine war. The question many are asking, Russian citizens alike: How on earth will this end? Not all Russians support Putin's war. However, speaking out can be dangerous. Russian dissenters who draw attention risk losing their jobs, businesses, university positions, and even freedoms. It's a call you won't hear on the nightly news, but we are called to PRAY for the RUSSIAN PEOPLE! Many Russians are familiar with Orthodox Christianity. The Orthodox cultural influence is strong, but many are non-practicing Orthodox Christians or even atheists. YET, they are dear to our Lord's heart! As they wait on an unknown future, wondering how on earth this will end, will their attention be captivated by Jesus Christ? Will they find HOPE in the Lord?
