Not sure what people think of this, but thought I'd start a prayer thread, particularly for those with depression, if anyone wants to offer prayer, or maybe requests, if those feel they have the strength to pray, but no worries if you don't, because I know what that's like as well.
Anyway I'll start one now.
Lord, I just pray for everyone battling with this awful illness in their mind right now Lord. Stick close to them all Lord. Minister to the needs of every individual on here. Please provide them with the people, services, medicines or any specific support you think each person will need Lord, and guide them specifically to actively receive this help. Give them the determination and will power to not give up and let this get completely on top of them. Show and guide them to the places and people who will help them. Show them by your Holy Spirit how they need to help themselves. Keep them close to you Lord, never letting them go, as the Christian walk is very difficult when going through this. Provide them with wise Christians who know and understand the realities of this illness, and know how through God this can be beaten. Keep them close to you Lord, as you promise to in your word, and thank you Lord that when we feel too weak sometimes and don't know what to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us on our behalf. Help all these people now God I pray. Make us into a stronger people through this bad time, and reign triumphant over the enemy who seeks to destroy, but you Father seek to bring through and rebuild. Do this for all these people in your time Lord, helping them each step of the way, keeping them close to you, and I pray each of these situations can eventually be used for good and for your glory.
