Praying for the needs of those who post or are associated with those of us who post. Praying for all of your marriages, health and safety. Lord please cause all of my friends and their family members be happy, healthy and safe. I pray that you will show Curtis direction and heal his broken spirit and his broken heart. I pray for all those here who are in need and have not expressed a desire for prayer. I thank you for the things you have already done for them and I thank you for those things that you will do. I especially thank you for those needs (of ours) that were met without us even knowing we had a need. I ask you to intercede in broken relationship and heal them like only you can. I ask that you give us the spirit of forgiveness towards each other and towards those we love. Lord, where physical pain is present send relief. Renew our bodies and energize us and help us to do those things that are healthiest for us. Thanks for loving us God and thanks for being so patient. Please be with those who have recently lost love ones and comfort them. I know there is a time to mourn. You said so in your scripture but please be with us when we must and comfort us all the same. In Jesus name, Amen.

The firm my son works for has gone into liquidation, so he has lost his job. He is married and they have a little girl. He lives on a short fuse and I am so worried. Hi everyone

I received a copy of the hospital's diagnosis [recent tests] this morning

1. Severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction with mild to moderate mitral regurgitation
2. Peripheral Vascular Disease- bilateral ileac and femoral angioplasties previously
3. COPD
4. Hypertension

The patient is on inhalers but these were only started recently
and in retrospect the diagnosis of airways disease [virus]
may in fact indicate heart failure
There is no family history of premature coronary disease
although his Mother had cerebral infarctions

On examination,
Heart rate was 96 per minute
Blood pressure was elevated at 162/82
Venous pressure was not elevated and heart sounds were normal
Chest was resonant to percussion and clear

Resting ECG demonstrated sinus rhythm with Q was in V1 and V2
and voltage criteria for left ventricular hypertrophy
Echocardiogram demonstrated severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction
with mild to moderate mitral regurgitation
I note renal function in March of this year was normal, urea 7.5, creatinine 74

I had initially suspected that the heart failure is most likely to be ischaemic in origin
given the established peripheral vascular disease and associate vascular risk factors
however, review of the echocardiograhic images shows global rather than regional
left ventricular systolic dysfunction with concentric left ventricular hypertrophy
suggesting possible hypertensive heart disease

Regardless of aetiology, it is clearly important to establish appropriate
prognostically important heart failure therapy here. I would be grateful
if you could initiate Ramipril 1.25 mg and aim to upitrate this as tolerated
Once established on Ramipril, we shall also initiate a beta-blocker
which could also be upitrated
I will ask the heart failure nursing team to see him for educational purposes
and for monitoring of upitration
It may be that we can discontinue the Nifepidene once he is established on
heart failure therapy although I would not do this currently given the elevated blood pressure readings
We will review him in eight weeks and determine whether any further imaging is required

I am changing meds.... to Ramipril
~to protect my heart, kidneys and liver

Once I have reached the dosage of this medicine
~that which is appropriate, for 'me' then, I will also be given a Beta-Blocker

The hospital will decide later [via monitoring]
WHAT, if anything 'else', NEEDS to be done

I may need to apply, for Mobility Allowance...~ to help me 'get-around'
But, it is early-days, as they say

And, of-course, I am in His hands

today is a rough day for me,,,,,,my husbands family is leaving for Cuba today for 15 days..idk if my husband is going.....but i feel like this is goodbye for me,,i dont feel like part of their family anymore,,,,its just not the same anymore,,,my husband last days of work was yesterday....idk whats going to happen next,,,,i just wish things were like they were many yrs ago,,,,when everyone go along and me and my husband were together,,i think about him all day,,,i guess i still love him very much,,,,,and i feel formy son,,him and my mother in law are close

I heard a pastor read this scripture after hearing from a dr that he had cancer. I keep remembering it in light of my mortality. Helps me to see God's ultimate plan is for me to be with Him in spite of earthly circumstances. I need these words often and thank the lord for them.

It can become a mind mitherer and lead to deep depressions [ais before]

Maybe, such a change, was [long ago] written into your book of life
and, like me, you too, will be led to someone... who will truly appreciate YOU

Her daughter's husband had a wreck on father's day and passed away just today. The grandsons are all young, Mandy is only 36. Mandy lives in Oklahoma and her mom, Jackie lives in Australia so Mandy is alone at this sad time. Jackie is coming but until then, please pray for the strength of two mother's who are heart broken.
