CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

young lady named Megan was hit by a car while sitting at a stop sign on the back of a motorcycle. I do not know her condition exactly.. last I heard she was in the hospital... praying for her recovery and healing...

Thanks everyone on megan's behalf... even though she has no knowledge that we are praying for her... the need is great because she seems to be taking a back seat to the needs of others... And I believe that when God intervenes in our lives we since it, even if we are not fully aware of what God has done, it quickens a desire in us to remain in his presence.

It does become 'worse' ...
My recent hernia repair has failed... probably due to all of this coughing
I managed to reduce the 'pop-out' myself, but it was very painfully 'trapped'
between me and the repair
I phoned the practice and was told that I may see any doctor there
at the health centre first-thing, tomorrow morning
and hopefully, I won't have-to wait a further four months for surgical attention
I have apparently 'lost' 16 pounds, since the hernia repair was carried-out
and this concerns Mary considerably
"Probably, it's due to all that coughing"
Oh well, these hurdles are doubtless sent to try our resolve and faith

praying for your healing and relief... I know that if it hurts enough for you to request prayer you are in some real pain... sooo sorry dave... May God heal your body completely and give you rest in spirit. I pray that God lays his hand on your heart and arteries and keeps your blood pressure down and your arteries clear of any and all blockage that might occur.. I pray that God also lays his hands on your hernia and incision from the prior repair attempt. In Jesus name.

Thank you... I wish I had an update for you on megan.. She is my nephews girlfriend. THey have a baby together... I have no relationship with my nephew or his mother (my sister)... I heard about megan purely by accident... SOmeone was soo glad my nephew wasn't hurt and as a side comment mentioned the megan was still in the hospital.. I was infuriated that no-one seemed to care for her well being because she wasn't blood. I then asked for prayer for her here.. Thank you so very much... I have never even met this girl. BUt at the moment I feel somehow linked to her...

spur of the moment thing guys.. There is a house up the street form me that has been empty for quite some time. It hit the market as a repo this weekend. I contacted a Realtor and inquired.. Thinking of buying it because it is just that cheap. Inspection is next.. My Realtor just called with a bid. I hope this is God's will... I certainly do... I've been watching the house (wondering) for a year now. .. pray that the outcome be in God's will and pray that I honor him in this no matter what.

We can feel the hurts (emotions) in our heart, but still care about people as you obviously do
I admire your strong and independent spirit, and you have shown much care towards us, and your friend (with the stroke) etc etc
